Meet our speakers

Georgina Valente
Sales Director
Georgina joined LSEG’s regulatory reporting business, in 2013 after a degree in International Business, and an earlier Sales role at SmartStream Technologies.
Within the LSEG Post Trade Sales team Georgina became a pivotal contributor to the growth of the business, managing existing and new customers across all regulations and services including EMIR, MiFIR, G20, Analytics & Data.  Georgina was promoted to Sales Director in 2020, and more recently has been involved across Post Trade leading the new LCH Digital Product Group sales efforts.
Georgina provides strong relationship management, a commercial mindset, and a solid understanding of our services alongside clients requirements, and looks forward to expanding that as we head into EMIR Refit.

Tim Hartley
EMIR Reporting Director

With over 15 years’ industry experience, Tim is a specialist in EMIR regulatory reporting and has a deep understanding of the full trade and position reporting lifecycle, from pre-sale, through to daily reporting and post-trade reporting review.

Tim has assisted and advised a broad range of firms, including hedge funds, asset managers, brokers and non-financial firms to enable them to meet reporting and regulatory requirements, implement fit for purpose and best practice approaches, as well as avoid regulatory scrutiny and enforcement action.

Prior to Kaizen, Tim was an EMIR and SFTR Reporting specialist for Kroll, where he led the firm’s expert reporting review consultations, authored and delivered EMIR and SFTR training modules on behalf of a leading Trade Repository, and was a regular panelist on EMIR Reporting webinars and conferences. Tim spent five years leading and developing the CME Trade Repository as Global Head of Client Services, after having focused on derivative onboarding for JPMorgan Chase.
James Hardie
Product Director
Regulatory Reporting, LSEG Post Trade

James started his regulatory career with Commerzbank, holding a variety of roles involved with regulatory reporting, providing the bank with regulatory knowledge in EMIR, MMSR, MAS and MiFID II regulations, to name but a few. Since 2017, James has operated as Product Director at LSEG's regulatory reporting business which is responsible for the UK and EU EMIR Trade repository. James provides product direction and development of the Trade Repositories and leads the drive to incorporate EMIR Refit changes into the infrastructure of the LSEG Post Trade repositories.
Jonathan Armitage
Head of Regulatory Reporting
LSEG Post Trade

Jonathan Armitage is the Head of Regulatory Reporting and Control Functions for LCH Limited, he’s thus responsible for transactional reporting for all asset classes. Jonathan have been at LCH for more than 8 years, 2 of which in his current role and the rest for a similar role for LCH SwapClear/Rates. Prior to this role at LCH, he has almost a decade of experience at top tier investment banks, all within OTC derivatives.
