Che Sidanius is the Global Head of Financial Crime & Industry Affairs at  LSEG. His role is to identify regulatory changes and lead programs of action with the sole purpose of enhancing the fight against financial crime more effective and delivering the best possible outcome for the industry. Together with the World Economic Forum and Europol, he’s the founder of the Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime and Co-Chair of the B20’s Integrity and Compliance Taskforce.

Prior to joining LSEG (Refinitiv), his work experiences include being a Senior Advisor to the Bank of England's Financial Stability Directorate and previously a Senior Bank Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of NY. His most notable awards included receiving the Presidential Award for managing the 2007-09 Financial Crisis and a driving force behind Refinitiv’s Impact Company of the year award in 2019 and contributor to the same award in 2021.

Che received his Master’s in International Affairs from the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University and undergraduate degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley in California.

Rūta Bajarūnaitėis a Chief officer at the Sanctions Group at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. In her daily activities, she is responsible for the preparation and coordination of proposals for sectoral measures, including the support for individual listing proposals. She also provides policy guidance and monitors international trends and developments in the area of sanctions.

Before joining the MFA, Rūta gained professional experience in the area of anti-money laundering and sanctions at the Center of Excellence in Anti-Money Laundering (public-private partnership established in Lithuania), where she led the Legislative Initiatives and Methodology Group and Sanctions Task Force. Prior to that, Rūta worked as a bilingual lawyer and supported an international law firm on a high-profile anti-money laundering investigation in Stockholm. Later, she joined KPMG Lithuania as an AML advisor.

Rūta Bajarūnaitė holds two masters degrees (in international law and in international economics and politics) from Mykolas Romeris University in Lithuania.

I have the knowledge and skills of implementing legal policies in different business areas, managing teams, working in a multi-cultural environment and working on complex projects. I consider myself to be a positive, proactive, reliable and responsible person with excellent interpersonal relationships that allows me to take on challenging responsibilities.

I started my professional journey in law 14 years ago and here I am today as a Sanctions Compliance Manager at NUVEI, UAB. My primary role is supporting the company in managing the firm's sanction risks, overseeing the development and implementation of policies and procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance. I have a special interest in technical solutions for screening processes and testing with a focus on efficiency improvements. Through my professional experience, I had the great privilege to work with people from different backgrounds that taught me an important lesson: different opinions often mean different solutions, and different solutions mean more options for the resolution of issues. Therefore, I believe that close collaboration between colleagues and the ability to hear others is the key to successful compliance and efficiency of relevant processes.
