Che Sidanius is Head of Financial Crime at  LSEG Risk Intelligence. His role is to identify regulatory changes and lead programs of action with the sole purpose of enhancing the fight against financial crime more effective and delivering the best possible outcome for the industry. Together with the World Economic Forum and Europol, he’s the founder of the Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime and Co-Chair of the B20’s Integrity and Compliance Taskforce.

Prior to joining LSEG (Refinitiv), his work experiences include being a Senior Advisor to the Bank of England's Financial Stability Directorate and previously a Senior Bank Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of NY. His most notable awards included receiving the Presidential Award for managing the 2007-09 Financial Crisis and a driving force behind Refinitiv’s Impact Company of the year award in 2019 and contributor to the same award in 2021.

Che received his Master’s in International Affairs from the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University and undergraduate degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley in California.

I started my professional journey in law 14 years ago and here I am today as a Sanctions Compliance Manager at NUVEI, UAB. My primary role is supporting the company in managing the firm's sanction risks, overseeing the development and implementation of policies and procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance. I have a special interest in technical solutions for screening processes and testing with a focus on efficiency improvements. Through my professional experience, I had the great privilege to work with people from different backgrounds that taught me an important lesson: different opinions often mean different solutions, and different solutions mean more options for the resolution of issues. Therefore, I believe that close collaboration between colleagues and the ability to hear others is the key to successful compliance and efficiency of relevant processes.

Irina is a certified Anti-Money Laundering and Global Sanctions specialist. She holds a bachelor degree in Law and master's degree in Public Relations and has 5+ years of experience in Sanctions and AML within Fintech. She works as a Sanctions Expert at ECOMMPAY and supports the company’s sanctions related activities- Assessing company’s sanctions risk, screening system evaluation and testing and maintaining cooperation with sanctions screening vendors. She also provides consultation to senior management regarding sanctions matter and participates in internal and external audits. She is curious about compliance and tech and constantly seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills in these areas.

Aurelija Balčiūnė is a Managing Associate at the Banking and Finance Practice Group. She has over 10 years of legal experience. Her main areas of expertise include compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), financial regulatory and structured - finance. Aurelija has extensive experience in AML matters and has counselled international and local banks, fintech and other companies on AML and compliance issues.

Aurelija Balčiūnė is a legal counsel with a business-driven mindset. During her legal practice, Aurelija has counselled international and local banks and companies on various regulatory and compliance matters, participated in the most renown market deals and M&A transactions, acquisition of large-scale debt portfolios and structured financing transactions. She regularly upgrades her knowledge on AML matters by participating in international conferences and events and is a regular speaker and lecturer on the AML topic. She regularly works on creating AML programmes for financial market participants and other obliged entities, performs AML audits and risks assessments, and constantly provides consultations on AML
