Vincent Denonville is the founder and managing partner of Konfidens Consulting, a compliance consulting firm focused on practical compliance solutions (Switzerland, www.konfidens.ch). Trained as a lawyer, he offers extensive experience and expertise in leading and providing management of compliance and ethics programs, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements in highly regulated industries, and acting on behalf of high-profile organizations operating globally. Serves as a trusted business partner, embedding a compliance culture through applying a whole-business approach in the design and delivery of governance and third-party risk frameworks and supporting policies.

Vincent held senior legal and compliance roles in reputable international banking institutions, in an international sports federation, and with multinational corporations. He can offer third-party risk management insight from each of those perspectives.

Seren Seglias is a qualified lawyer and compliance officer, currently spearheading the integrity and compliance initiatives at MAN Energy Solutions Switzerland, a global frontrunner in large-bore diesel, gas engines, and turbomachinery. A Swiss national, Seren is proficient in three languages, enhancing her ability to navigate complex international legal landscapes.

Holding an LL.B and an LL.M from University College London, complemented by a BA in Business Administration from the University of Zurich, Seren's academic background is as diverse as it is impressive. Her legal practice is focused on merger control and competition law, areas where she has developed significant expertise. In her pivotal role as a Compliance Officer, Seren is at the forefront of managing third-party risks, enforcing anti-corruption policies, and overseeing trade-related anti-money laundering (AML) measures. Her recent achievements include the successful implementation of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act.

Seren lives by the principle that transparency fosters trust and lays the groundwork for meaningful dialogue and collaboration. This principle guides her professional approach and is a testament to her commitment to integrity and compliance in all her endeavors.

Annette Schüller brings extensive experience in compliance, governance and international law. 

From 2010 to 2023 she worked as Corporate Compliance Officer at Givaudan and set up the ethics & compliance function and programme at Givaudan, 

including the anti-corruption and data protection programmes in particular. In addition, she created the enterprise risk management function at 

Givaudan and currently serves as the Board secretary. Annette is a regular speaker and contributor on compliance topics in Switzerland and internationally, 

including the co-authorship on the chapter on compliance risk assessment for the Swiss Handbuch Corporate Compliance (2022). Before joining Givaudan, 

Annette worked at Tetra Laval International as a Legal Director and before that she was a corporate finance and M&A lawyer in the London offices of a U.S. law firm. 

Annette is a German qualified lawyer and an Attorney-at-Law (NY). She holds a Ph.D. in German corporate law from Tübingen University (Germany) and is also a CFA Charterholder.

Peter Thomas, PROXORA, Senior Manager Advisory & Sales, has been supporting companies in the DACH region with the selection, implementation and rollout of compliance software solutions since 2007.

His business partners value his holistic approach and the associated partnership-based cooperation and long-term customer satisfaction. Values that also characterise PROXORA, where he has been responsible for Advisory & Sales since September 2022.

His current focus is on third-party risk management solutions for industrial companies.

Niels Wohlwend is the Senior Specialist, Legal and Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of the Basel Institute on Governance. He has held the position since January 2023.

Niels comes with over two decades of experience in legal and compliance roles in the healthcare and oil industries. Among other things, Niels has helped various leading healthcare companies establish and improve their compliance programmes and comply with their obligations towards regulators under corporate integrity agreements and deferred prosecution agreements. These include Bristol Myers Squibb, Johnson & Johnson and Zimmer Biomet.

In his various roles, Niels had responsibility for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and South/Latin America. As part of his responsibilities, Niels managed Compliance teams of up to 35 people located all over the globe.

Niels is a qualified lawyer from the University of Basel, Switzerland. He holds a Master of Advanced European Studies (M.A.E.S.) in European Law, Economics and Politics from the European Institute of the University of Basel. 

He also holds various compliance certifications from international organisations including the Corporate Integrity Agreement Training from the Compliance Certification Board in New Jersey and the Advanced Healthcare Compliance Implementation Leadership Program from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, Paris.

Born in Switzerland, he is fluent in German (native), French (native) and English and speaks some Italian.

Che Sidanius is the Global Head of Financial Crime & Industry Affairs at  LSEG. His role is to identify regulatory changes and lead programs of action with the sole purpose of enhancing the fight against financial crime more effective and delivering the best possible outcome for the industry. Together with the World Economic Forum and Europol, he’s the founder of the Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime and Co-Chair of the B20’s Integrity and Compliance Taskforce.

Prior to joining LSEG (Refinitiv), his work experiences include being a Senior Advisor to the Bank of England's Financial Stability Directorate and previously a Senior Bank Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of NY. His most notable awards included receiving the Presidential Award for managing the 2007-09 Financial Crisis and a driving force behind Refinitiv’s Impact Company of the year award in 2019 and contributor to the same award in 2021.

Che received his Master’s in International Affairs from the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University and undergraduate degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley in California.

Barbara Badoino is a member of Ethics, Risk & Compliance Leadership and serves as the Chair of the Risk Leadership Team of Novartis and as Enterprise Crisis Leader.

Barbara Badoino joined Novartis in 2009 covering roles of increasing seniority in Research, Development, Commercial Operations and most recently in Ethics, Risk & Compliance.

Barbara’s career began as a chemist in Italy, with focus on Assurance and Governance for GxP regulated industries.

Currently, Barbara leads Corporate Ethics, Risk and Compliance at Novartis where her focus is on pursuing innovation, utilizing data and digital tools, and unleashing the creative power of employees to embed ethics into the core of the business. She is also leading the implementation of Integrated Assurance through Governance, Risk Management, Compliance & Internal Controls.

Barbara responsibilities cover the Novartis Code of Ethics, built on crowdsourced feedback from employees and on behavioural science. She leads the integrated risk and compliance management systems and related digital platforms that help senior management and employees prioritize and manage risks in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. Her scope covers human rights and labor rights, ensuring these key elements are further integrated into core business practices, especially external partner risk management, and leads Business Continuity and Crisis management efforts ensuring enterprise resilience. Barbara is also responsible for Enterprise Risk Management including related reporting for Executives and Board Members.

Barbara has gained a global reputation as a leader in the field of risk and compliance and serves as Novartis’ representative at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Risk Officers Community and other industry associations.
