Sustainable Finance & Investment Summit 2024
Thursday, September 26 | 1:45PM - 6:30PM | New York City
The role of the finance and investment community is central in the transition to a net zero economy. The theme of this year’s New York Climate Week is ‘It’s Time’, highlighting the urgency in channeling investment into green activity and decarbonising portfolios, as the effects of climate change are felt globally.
Join us on 26th September at our invite-only event for a select group of thought leaders and leading financial institutions, as we aim to foster dialogue on addressing climate change and sustainable investment transparency.
The afternoon will feature discussions of major climate policy and market developments, including the latest research on portfolio transition from the Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI), and Net Zero Asset Owners Alliance (NZAOA). We will also hear from leading asset owners, including Phoenix Group and CalPERS, on how they have successfully implemented climate risk aware investment strategies across asset classes. Finally, a keynote address from Nili Gilbert, David Rockefeller Fund Committee and Chair of Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero's Advisory Panel (GFANZ), will share her perspective and experience as both an investor and industry leader.
We hope you can join us for what promises to be an engaging event, filled with valuable insights from renowned thought leaders on climate investing.
Panel discussions will be followed by networking and a cocktail reception.
More event information to be announced, including panel topics and timings.
