Unlock the power of Data & Analytics
April, 2024
At LSEG, we are simplifying our branding, making it easier for customers to understand our full range of capabilities. As part of this change the Refinitiv brand has changed to LSEG Data & Analytics and Refinitiv Access has changed to LSEG Data Access.

What was included in LSEG Data Access during Q1 2024?

As an LSEG Data Access customer you have access to the depth and breadth of our data, capabilities and people.

As part of the agreement we regularly add to the inclusions to ensure you have access to the data and delivery mechanisms you need to drive value for your whole organisation.

If you would like to find out more about any of the latest inclusions, please contact your LSEG Account Manager.

Please note, while some LSEG Data Access content may include redistribution rights; there may be product-specific restrictions or limits. LSEG Data Access comes with an Exhibit 1 document, which outlines the content which is available for redistribution and the terms under which it can be redistributed. The latest version of Exhibit 1 is available at MyAccount.

Significant Development News over our data platform

Significant Developments provides concise summaries and categorisations of crucial market-moving company events monitored through press releases, enabling investors to screen out noise and make decisions affecting their investments.

Investors receive targeted information which matters when potential stock price movements happen based on information in a company’s press release. The service acts as a news filtering and analysis process that identifies and isolates important company news.

Each ‘development’ is tagged across a range of relevant topics including M&A, officer changes, company financial guidance, restructuring and much more, and assigned a degree of significance regarding the event - varying from high to low.

StarMine M&A Target over Quantitative Analytics

With the StarMine M&A Target Model you get access to the first commercially available model that uses a large language model to rank potential merger and acquisition (M&A) targets within the next 12 months for over 38,000 public companies. The model is global, but it accounts for different levels of acquisition activity by region and allocates a greater probability for sectors experiencing a wave of activity.

The StarMine M&A Target Model uses a large language model on Reuters News textual content, machine learning on fundamental point-in-time data sets and credit profiles.

Advanced Dealing

Advanced Dealing is the successor to Conversational Dealing and creates a unique synergy between Workspace’s pre-trade tools, Messenger and Dealing global communities to deliver a modernised collaborative trading end-to-end workflow.

  • It enables Workspace for FX Trading users to clearly differentiate between an ‘informal chat’ and trading related communication with seamless workflow transition. Our solution benefits from the strategic partnership with Microsoft and will offer APIs for external credit checks and pricing, thus responding to automation and efficiency needs.
  • It supports FX Spot, Deposits, Outrights, Swaps, NDFs and NDSs. It benefits from Conversational Dealing’s DNA and global communities but also leverages a modern technology stack to grow the instrument coverage, offer new advanced functionalities and responds to FX specific workflows.
  • It guarantees post trade connectivity and ensures straight-through-processing into risk management solutions or eComms Surveillance solutions (RCA or third party) via market standard protocol feeds. It aligns with our suite of post trade solutions (Deal Tracker Suite) to guarantee availability of advanced analytics for review and reconciliation tasks.
