Organised by LSEG and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) in collaboration with the Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), this event will feature a series of discussions focusing on climate transition plans and how to navigate the pathway ahead.
The event will be hosted by David Schwimmer, CEO, LSEG, and Sue Lloyd, Vice-Chair, ISSB. Other confirmed speakers include: Michael Eakins, CIO, Phoenix Group, Mary Schapiro, Vice Chair, GFANZ, Prof Simon Dietz, London School of Economics, and David Russell, Chair, TPI. The agenda will start with a global outlook on standards and regulation, before moving into the practical application and use of transition plans among investors and companies.
The ISSB will take stock of progress on global sustainability disclosure, two years from the launch of the ISSB’s inaugural standards. And during the event, we will explore current regulatory developments on disclosures in the UK and globally. Experts will then discuss the practical application of climate transition plans in providing forward-looking information and enabling strategic engagement between companies, the finance sector and policy makers.
