Colin Barr is Americas Breaking News Editor for Finance & Markets at Reuters in New York.

Colin has covered markets and business for three decades. He spent the last 14 years at the Wall Street Journal, including eight years as deputy finance editor. Previously he wrote a finance blog at Fortune and a column at TheStreet.com called The Five Dumbest Things on Wall Street This Week.

At the WSJ, Colin ran the core markets, economics and finance breaking news, prior to which he held roles as the deputy finance editor, the markets editor managing a big team covering stocks, bonds and commodities, and as banking editor.

Colin was named one of the top 25 finance bloggers in 2011 by Time, and won a 2006 SABEW Best in Business award for the weekly Five Dumbest Things on Wall Street column.

He is a Penn State grad who lives in Port Washington, NY, with his wife, Meena Bose, and their children, Lucy and Brian.

Suhrud Dagli is a co-founder of RiskSpan, where he leads the firm's technology platform and AI strategy across its structured finance analytics offerings.

His work spans agentic workflows for MBS, ABS, and private credit valuation, including RiskSpan's market risk and bond analytics agents.

Suhrud also serves as Co-Chair of the Structured Finance Association's Technology Committee, helping shape industry guidance on AI adoption in capital markets. He partners regularly with insurance, bank, and asset manager clients on risk and pricing analytics.

Rowena is a Managing Director in BBH’s Investment Management – a business segment of the firm’s Capital Partners (“CP”) Line of Business.

She leads the pricing team and oversees valuation matters for both traditional fixed income and alternative credit holdings. She is also responsible for the oversight of the infrastructure supporting the firm’s proprietary UCITS funds. 

Rowena is a member of BBH CP’s Valuation Oversight Committee.

Rowena has held various leadership roles for global banks and financial services companies, including but not limited to, being a corporate banker, internal auditor, controller for private equity and hedge funds and UCITS conducting officer.

Patrick is a Senior Specialist in Capital Group’s Investment Operations Department, focused on security valuation and liquidity risk management.

Patrick is a member of Capital Groups Liquidity Risk Management Committee as well as Global Valuation Committees. He joined Capital Group in 2010 and has been working on valuation and liquidity since 2012.

Prior to joining Capital Group, Patrick spent four years in the fund accounting, valuation, and operations department of Gleacher Fund Advisors in New York, NY.

He has earned an MAT degree from Manhattanville College in New York and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. Patrick is based in New York, NY. 

Marc Esmiley is Head of Product, Financial Services Studio, at Microsoft's Commercial Engineering organisation.

With over two decades in technology leadership, he has built a career at the intersection of regulated industries, enterprise cloud platforms, and AI partnering with some of the world's largest financial institutions to co-engineer scalable, production-grade solutions that translate regulatory and commercial complexity into measurable outcomes.

Beyond his executive role at Microsoft, Marc brings board-level experience as a Non-Executive Director at the Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB) and at VE3 Global, a technology consultancy specialising in cloud, data, and AI for regulated sectors.

He holds an MBA from Warwick Business School.

Elizabeth (Liz) Templeton joined Morningstar in October 2020 and has been part of Morningstar Indexes since August 2023.

She is currently a senior product manager for fixed income and multi-asset indexes, responsible for managing these two product suites including the Morningstar LSTA Leveraged loan Indexes.  

Prior to joining Morningstar Indexes, Liz evaluated fixed income managed investments for Morningstar’s manager research team. She began her Morningstar career in the Morningstar Development Program.

Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in personal finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Saurav Banerjee is the founder of Banjarisk LLC, advising investors and regulators on navigating complex capital markets. He brings over 25 years of experience across the financial services industry, spanning roles as a quant, portfolio manager, and trader on both the buy and sell side at institutions including the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Prudential Financial, AIG, and JPMorgan. 

Saurav has led investment and capital management strategies, developed risk appetite frameworks, and designed ALM and hedging solutions for institutional portfolios. He has served as Chief Risk Officer, Chief Investment Officer for hedge fund, banking and insurance companies, and most recently as Senior Policy Advisor to the U.S. Treasury, where he played a key role in shaping regulatory frameworks and engaging with the Federal Reserve, SEC, and NAIC on systemic risk, private credit, and insurance sector transformation. 

He currently serves as investment, insurance and risk policy advisor for domestic and foreign governments to address retirement savings gaps and household protection gaps and evaluates ALM solutions across the $8trn AUM insurance industry (life, p&c and health). He is also working on the digital transformation strategies of US government through capital solutions for development of key energy and blockchain infrastructure projects across Americas and Asia with major institutional partners in banking, venture capital and private equity.

Saurav Banerjee is a graduate of Columbia University focused on Corporate Finance and Financial Engineering . He completed his undergraduate in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is also a CAIA charter holder and GARP FRM risk professional. 

Rishi Rajanala covers Americas crude and fuel oil markets for LSEG, tracking seaborne trade flows, supply-demand balances, and export pricing across the Atlantic Basin.

His research connects physical market fundamentals to broader price dynamics, drawing on cargo-level data and producer economics to inform market outlook.

Prior to LSEG, he structured hedging strategies for oil and refined product clients at Aegis Hedging.

He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.    

Frank Gavin is a member of BlackRock’s Valuation Governance team overseeing the pricing of public securities within the Americas region.

The Valuation Governance team is responsible for ensuring BlackRock Funds are priced in accordance with the firm's valuation policies and procedures which requires oversight of both fund administrators and market data vendors. Additionally, the team is responsible for the pricing of assets under management in BlackRock’s internal investment platform, Aladdin. Frank co-chairs both the US & Canada and Latin America Pricing Committees and is a member of the firm’s Global Valuation Methodologies Committee and Collective Investment Fund Oversight Committee.

Prior to joining BlackRock, Frank spent 13 years overseeing fund accounting and valuation for a client account at BNY Mellon.

Frank earned a B.S. and M.S. in Finance both from the University of Delaware.

Bill specializes in financial instruments and transactions valuation, accounting and risk management. He leads Deloitte’s Valuation & Analytics practice, overseeing a global team of valuation specialists.

His team is responsible for designing and maintaining the One Deloitte Price in Omnia DNAV, Deloitte’s digital cloud-based solution for the audit of securities, investments and funds.

Additionally, he serves as the lead valuation partner for audit of one of Deloitte’s largest global banking clients.

Chip Thresher is Director, Government Relations and Regulatory Strategy, Americas at LSEG. Chip originally joined Thomson Reuters in 2014 covering the Financial Data & Risk business which subsequently became Refinitiv. Following LSEG’s acquisition of Refinitiv in 2021, Chip joined the LSEG team in the Americas, focusing on issues impacting the Data & Analytics and FTSE Russell businesses of LSEG as well as key group-wide issues including sustainable finance and geopolitical risk.

Prior to joining the company, Chip held various government affairs and regulatory positions in the private and public sector spanning industries including pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, energy, and finance. Chip served in the George W. Bush Administration from 2003-2008 with roles at the White House and U.S. Department of Commerce.

Chip holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado, an MBA from Pepperdine University, and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law.

Vitaliy Kozak is the Chief Product Officer & Head of Insights at Octaura, where he leads product strategy and innovation across the firm’s electronic trading, data, and analytics platform for syndicated loans and CLOs.

A founding member of Octaura, Vitaliy brings over 15 years of experience as a secondary CLO trader, most recently serving as Global Co-head of CLO, ABS, TRUPS, and CDO Trading at Citi. His work has been recognized in the Creditflux buy-side surveys as a top provider of secondary CLO data.

At Octaura, Vitaliy has been instrumental in launching new trading protocols—including Lists/CLO BWICs—which aim to modernize and streamline the structured credit markets.

He is a vocal advocate for transparency and efficiency in credit trading and regularly collaborates with media and industry stakeholders to advance Octaura’s mission.

Vitaliy is based in New York City and works closely with CEO Brian Bejile and the executive team to drive platform growth and market adoption.

Kristin Hochstein leads the Pricing and Reference Services business globally for the Data & Analytics division of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).  She is an accomplished executive with more than 20 years in the data industry.  Before she took on the role, she was leading reference data and symbology, along with entity data, including the verified managed service (VEDaaS) following the acquisition of Avox.  Prior to this role, Kristin drove regulatory solutions for the Thomson Reuters organization to address the compliance burden and challenges facing clients.  Kristin also helped launch a counterparty and legal entity data business for then Reuters and held various roles at Dun & Bradstreet, including Senior Director in the credit risk business.

Kristin is the immediate past Chair of the board for ISITC and the Executive Sponsor of the Reference Data and Standards Group.  She holds degrees with honors including an MBA from Columbia University as well as a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in French from the University of Richmond.

As Director of Municipal Bond Evaluations at LSEG Pricing Service, Christian leads the Municipal Evaluations team, which prices close to a million municipal securities daily. Prior to joining LSEG, Christian worked at Public Financial Management (PFM) as a Director in the municipal bond pricing group, supporting municipal issuers nationwide for pricing of competitive, negotiated and privately placed New Issue deals. Additionally, Christian has experience on the sales and trading side of the business, managing a sell side fixed income trading desk for an asset management firm. Christian’s trading experience includes products in a range of specialties including municipals, government, corporate, and certificate of deposits.

Christian received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Kansas.
