Yingzhi Zhang Shipping Solution Specialist within Commodity Insights looking after Greater China and Southeast Asia markets, supporting clients to navigate value from shipping intelligence. Yingzhi has 13 years’ experience in shipping and supply chain, starting with logistics and procurement roles in FMCG industry where she had been involved in a full lifecycle of ERP implementation as process lead, later she has specialised in shipping and trade digitisation. Yingzhi has also worked in maritime advisory services taking up several shipping and port consultancy projects. Joined IHS Markit (now part of S&P Global) in 2020, she works as l subject matter expert supporting on various maritime, trade and supply chain solutions in risk and compliance, commodity insights and data driven intelligence. 

Yingzhi holds a MSc degree in Operations, Projects and Supply Chain Management from the University of Manchester, and graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University with a BEng in Transportation - International Shipping and BSc in International Economics and Trade.

Yan Chong is the Director of Refinitiv Oil Research & Forecasts in Asia, part of its Commodities Research & Forecast division.  He is also the inspiration behind the Asia Oil Flows Assessment Module, that provides fundamental assessments of cargo flows across the oil barrel to and from demand and supply regions, after having learnt the fundamentals of Supply & Demand in the more than 10 years that he has been in the oil industry, starting out as a Price Editor in Platts, being an Energy Correspondent with Reuters and also having spent some time as a Trading Analyst in Merrill Lynch.

Miss Gui is currently the head of international research group of CITIC futures company research institution. Prior to joining Citic, Chenxi received her Ph.D. degree in Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and Master degree in Science from Loughborough University, England. Chenxi participated in the launch and promotion of the first China internationalized futures product crude oil, regularly publishing English reports on China futures market, and providing research service for wide range of major industrial and financial institutions, both within China and abroad.

Fenglei Shi currently leads the Crude and Refined Oil Market Research Team for S&P Global Commodities in the Greater China region. Her expertise lies in the crude and refined oil value chain. Since joining IHS Markit in 2018 (which later merged with S&P), she has focused on research in crude oil, downstream refining, and refined oil markets, bringing extensive experience in fundamental analysis, pricing, refinery economics, trade, and company competitiveness. She has helped the S&P China Oil Market Research to develop tailored, comprehensive approaches to analyze China's unique market dynamics, while contextualizing them within the global landscape. Prior to working with S&P Global and IHS Markit, Ms. Shi worked with Argus Media, serving as lead China analyst and pioneering several key crude oil price indices for the Chinese market. She has more than 11 years of experience in the energy research and consulting sector.
