Victor has a proven track record of executing against sales & retention goals, leading sales teams, identifying and delivering against business opportunities. He has diplomas from Truman State University in the US and Financial University in Russia. Victor is based in Shanghai. He is married and has two teenage sons.

Gordon Murray

Managing Director, IIR Energy, Asia Pacific

Murray is the Managing Director of IIR Energy for the Asia Pacific region, with over 14 years of experience at IIR, and a long history of experience in the chemical industry prior to joining IIR. Gordon has a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from one of Australia’s leading Universities.

Emril Jamil

Senior Analyst - Fuel Oil, LSEG

Emril Jamil is a veteran in the oil markets, specialising in fuel oil and crude. He has covered markets in Asia and Middle East, witnessing changing landscapes in the industry.

With prior experiences at price reporting agencies such as Platts and Argus, Emril is a seasoned journalist as well as researcher in the commodities market. He was also a risk manager at a global trading house.

Prior to rejoining Refinitiv Oil Research in May 2022, he was involved in research at NUS ISEM (National University of Singapore Industrial System Engineering and Management) looking alternative maritime fuels.

Senior Analyst, JLC

Victor Yang, a Senior Analyst with JLC, has over 20 years of experience in energy industry, particularly about China’s oil market. He joined JLC in 2017, after working with ICIS China for over 10 years.

Victor has a deep understanding of China’s oil market and has been engaged in market analysis and training of analysts and editors in the industry.
