Gongfu Li is the head of treasury at Bank of China, Singapore branch.

Shawn Yuan is Co-CIO of the Dymon Asia Multi-Strategy Investment Fund and Chief Investment Officer of the Dymon Asia China Absolute Return Bond Fund at Dymon Asia Capital. He has more than 15 years of industry experience. His focus is China macro, FX and rates. Prior to joining Dymon in 2013, Shawn was Head of China Rates and Credit Trading at Standard Chartered Bank in Shanghai. Shawn started his career when China liberalized its interest rate and FX markets in the mid 2000s. He has gained deep knowledge of the onshore China markets since then.

Soo Chin brings over 20+ years of regional industry experience, having previously held various management trading positions in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai, most recently running EM Trading at Bank of China HK, 7 years as Head APAC FX Trading at RBC HK, and senior trading roles at CIBC, WestLB, HSBC, Credit Agricole and National Bank of Canada. 

Over her career, she has built an extensive network of clients and industry alumni.  Soo Chin converses in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Basic Japanese.  An entrepreneur at heart, Soo Chin also co-founded Sooch Pte Ltd Singapore, a cross border payment network, which provides digital wallets roaming services. 

Soo Chin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from National University of Singapore, and an MBA and a Diploma in Management from Imperial College Business School. She has recently completed an Executive Diploma in Directorship with Singapore Management University/Singapore Institute of Directors.

Tommy Xie joined OCBC Global Treasury in January 2008 as the economist for Treasury Research & Strategy. He is responsible for the Greater China economic and market research and currently heading the Greater China research team for OCBC Group and OCBC Wing Hang. Tommy is also a member of OCBC Wealth Panel. His views are regularly cited in both English news wires such as Reuters, Dow Jones, Bloomberg and the top tier Chinese news wire such as People’s Daily, Xinhua, and Lianhe Zaobao. He is also the bilingual regular commentator on the televised media such as CNBC, BBC, CCTV and Channel News Asia etc. Tommy is the columnist for People’s Daily, Hong Kong Economic Journal, Singapore’s Lianhe Zaobao and Macau Daily etc. Prior to joining OCBC, Tommy worked for the government agency in London. He started his career at Bank of China in Shanghai. Tommy received his MSc in Economics from University of Leicester in the UK. He is also a chartered Financial Risk Manager (FRM) as well as a member of global MENSA.

Norman is a senior leader from the Trading and Banking Solutions team based in Singapore and represents Asia for all Trading and Banking products. As the Head of Electronic Workflows, Norman leads our cross-asset workflow solutions ensuring collaboration and synergies across the diverse business of Trading and Banking. Norman also leads the Global Eikon Pre Trade product team as well as our connectivity strategy.

Norman joins from BGC Partners where he was Head of APAC Product and later Head of Americas Product. His extensive experience covers product management for cross asset trading as well as knowledge across markets in EMEA, Asia and Americas. He has done roles in Singapore, London, Shanghai as well as New York.

His career spans across banks, brokers, and venues such as Goldman Sachs, ICAP, EBS and BGC Partners.
