Kate Birchall is Head of Post Trade Sales and Relationship Management at LSEG, responsible for driving global sales efforts, as well as developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders. 

Before joining LCH Ltd, an LSEG Post Trade business, as Head of APAC in October 2018, Kate was Head of Portfolio Optimisation and Collateral at National Australia Bank. With two decades of financial markets experience, primarily in capital and collateral management, she has also held senior roles in structuring, portfolio management and credit research in both Australia and London.

Kate holds an Executive MBA from the London Business School and a BA in Mathematics from the University of Queensland.

Tobias Becker, Head of Business Development, Quantile

Tobias is the Head of Business Development at Quantile, where he researches and designs solutions to reduce risk and capital requirements for market participants globally. Prior to joining Quantile, Tobias was at Credit Suisse, where he headed up capital and balance sheet management for the global macro fixed income trading desk in London. Previously, he ran structured credit trading at Rabobank International and traded CDS and credit correlation at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and London. He has also acted as senior advisor to the London Clearing House.

Chris Barnes has 19 years experience in OTC Derivatives markets.

He started out trading Cross Currency Swaps at HSBC between 2002 and 2010, before helping to launch Rates Trading at State Street in London (2010–2012). Having relocated to Switzerland, he was most recently Director of Product Development at Gottex.

Chris holds an MA from the University of Cambridge in Natural Sciences, where his dissertation on artificial intelligence was published in 2001.

Pia Anschperger joined LCH in 2015 as Regional Sales Director across all services of the group.

She is now head of LSEG Post Trade Sales in Germany, Italy, and Austria.

She has a derivatives background as former Director Prime Services Sales in the DACH region at Barclays for 5 years and 17 years as Director Listed Rates, Clearing and Prime Services Sales at Deutsche Bank.

Before joining Deutsche Bank she was an options market maker and derivatives trader at Dresdner Bank in Frankfurt and London. 

Fred Dassori is Chief Product Officer of LSEG’s Acadia business within the Post Trade division, where he is responsible for leading Acadia’s Strategic Development function, encompassing product management, business development, and project management.

Before joining Acadia, Fred spent 13 years working in financial services. Most recently he was head of automated rates trading at Credit Suisse and president and CEO of Wake USA LLC, a joint venture between Credit Suisse and Tower Research Capital focused on automated market making of fixed income products. Prior to that, Fred held various roles in investment banking strategy, corporate development, and equity research at Credit Suisse, and represented Credit Suisse as a board member and advisor in a range of financial technology investments and strategic partnerships.

Fred holds a BA from Yale University, an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and an MBA from Columbia University. He is an outdoor enthusiast and serves as board chair for an Off-Broadway theater company based in New York City.

Danny Foster joined LSEG Post Trade in September 2023, as Director, CDSClear Sales Specialist, with a global remit to lead member and client engagement for the clearing service.  Prior to joining Danny was at HSBC for 10 years where he held various positions in the Derivatives Clearing business, including EMEA Head of Derivatives Clearing Sales and Relationship Management. Danny also worked at Citi for 9 years, which included 3 years in the Derivatives Clearing business.

Luigi Galluccio joined JPMorgan in October 2005. He has over 25 years of experience in the Futures & Options industry. Prior to joining JPMorgan Luigi has held positions at Chemical Bank, Banca Caboto and Banca IMI.  

In his current role at JPMorgan Luigi is responsible for derivatives clearing sales across Europe  and the Middle East.  

Julien Jardelot is Head of Europe, Government Relations & Regulatory Strategy at LSEG, supporting LSEG business developments on regulatory matters in Europe across a wide range of trading, post-trading, data, and analytics matters. Prior to that, Julien worked in the Legal and Regulatory and International Affairs Departments of the Autorite des Marches Financiers, on Fund Management and post-trade issues. He joined LSEG from the European Commission's Financial Markets Infrastructure Unit where he worked a wide variety of EU and international post-trade issues. Julien Jardelot holds a Law degree from the University Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne and an MBA in Finance.

Angelika Kaiser has been working for Deutsch Bank AG since January 1997 and has held positions of responsibility in various areas, including FIC Derivatives trading, structured rates sales, e-commerce sales and Listed Derivatives & OTC Clearing Sales (LD&C). Since over 10 years Angelika is part of the LD&C team covering key clients in Continental Europe. She was part of the team building up DB’s OTC client clearing offering in Europe.

In her current role she is heading the Platform Sales Team (Listed Derivatives, OTC Clearing, FX PB and FI PB) in Continental Europe.

Nicholas Steele, Head of Rates Risk,  SwapClear, Listed Rates and SwapAgent at LCH.

Based in London, Nick is responsible for risk across all aspects of the Rates CCP, from the daily oversight of margin processes and risk in the system, to the underlying margin models and industry-wide impacting projects such as iBOR transition.

Before joining LCH in 2021, Nick was a managing director at Barclays with responsibility to ensure the efficient use of the firm’s collateral across OTC derivatives, Initial Margin and Intraday liquidity. He was heavily involved in the development of ISDA’s SIMM© model in response to the Uncleared Margin Rules and was chair of its Executive Governance Committee.

From 2010 to 2012 he worked in Deutsche Bank’s Credit Products Group responsible for optimising the counterparty risk across the business. Prior to this, he worked at Barclays in the Prime Brokerage division with responsibility for hedge fund margining and risking platforms (GNA).

He holds a BA from Oxford University in Mathematics and Philosophy.
