Islamic finance industry has been growing in double digits in the past few decades with Islamic finance assets reaching almost US$4 trillion with 17 percent growth rate up to date. This development was mostly driven by growing Islamic banking assets and sukuk issuance in different markets in particular within Middle East and Southeast Asia.
London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), a leading financial markets infrastructure, sustainability and data business, in collaboration with Kuwait Financial Markets Association (KFMA), are jointly hosting an event in Kuwait titled: Islamic Finance Outlook: Driving Change taking place on Tuesday, 21 November 2023.
The event will gather key market players in the Islamic banking and capital market fields to discuss various industry trends and market insights covering digital banking, sustainable finance, capital markets and sukuk.
In addition, LSEG Islamic finance experts will shade lights on the $4 billion global Islamic finance industry landscape and outlook including Islamic banking and sukuk while providing highlights on the governance between Islamic finance and sustainability.
