SSA ESG Bonds - Financing Perspectives

The 2024 IFR ESG Roundtable will take place Monday June 17, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars.

The discussion will examine the principal drivers of ESG bond issuance over the remainder of 2024 with a particular focus on sovereign, supranational and agency borrowers - the pioneers of labelled bond supply and still a substantial share of the market.

Political and regulatory action in Europe around climate-change and environmental protection continues to intensify. At the same time, stakeholders are pushing for greater disclosure and transparency, as well as enhanced project tracking and impact assessment.

  • How are SSA issuers, investors and investment banking advisors responding to these factors?
  • How are ESG capital markets responding to additional considerations such as biodiversity and the Sustainable Development Goals?

The Roundtable will draw on IFR's extensive industry contacts to bring together a diverse panel of senior practitioners who will address these questions and more.

The event is completely free to attend. Secure your place by completing the form on this page.
