Plenary Session: Local Insights to address the net zero transition global challenges.
The 28th edition of COP will convene in UAE and will assess progress towards tackling climate change and mitigating its effects. The UAE vision for COP is to unify the world on bold, practical and ambitious solutions to the most pressing global sustainable challenges.
This session will bring together leading global and regional experts to discuss the lessons learned from COP27, taking a global stocktake, the progress in the Arab’s states energy transition and its commitment to Loss and Damage. It will also focus on UAE’s roadmap in achieving its net zero transition.
