Claire is responsible for leading the portfolio of sustainable finance related projects across London Stock Exchange Group’s Capital Markets business which includes equities, fixed income and ETFs. Claire has played an important role in the development of model ESG disclosure and reporting guidance for London Stock Exchange listed companies and initiatives such as an ESG Disclosure Tool, the publication of a guide to green finance and Green Economy Mark for AIM and Main Market companies.

Claire’s background is in the fund management industry and in equity capital markets, working with private and listed companies. Claire is a member of an industry Taskforce on the Scaling of Voluntary Carbon Markets.

Matthew Toole serves as Director of Deals Intelligence within Refinitiv’s Trading and Banking Solutions Division and is responsible for communicating broad M&A, capital markets, private equity and venture capital industry trends through regular research reports and the financial media.  Matthew’s research has been featured in various global financial publications including The New York Times and the Financial Times and he has appeared on CNBC’s Worldwide Exchange and Squawk Box and The Nightly Business Report.

Most recently, Matthew was the Director of Deals Intelligence for the Financial & Risk division of Thomson Reuters.  Prior to this appointment, Matthew was the director of media relations for Thomson Financial’s Investment Banking content and managed Thomson Financial’s capital markets content strategy and development including debt and equity research and banking contributor relations. Matthew started his career as a research analyst in the fixed income group at Thomson Financial Securities Data.

Matthew serves as global co-chair of the LSEG Pride Network, the employee network focused on LSEG’s LGBTQ+ employees and allies.  Matthew also serves as co-chair of OPEN Finance, a volunteer network that combines the expertise of member firms’ employee resource groups to drive forward LGBTQ+ equality and diversity in the financial services sector and beyond.

Matthew received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Providence College.

Shrey is responsible for London Stock Exchange plc’s debt and structured finance markets, and is part of the Primary Markets management committee. He was previously Head of Strategic Development for LSE plc.

He is the Co-Chair of the City of London’s India-UK Capital Markets Working Group, Chair of the Green and Sustainable Sukuk Taskforce under the High-Level Working Group on Islamic Finance established at COP-26, and was a member of the Advisory Council to the Green & Social Bond Principles Executive Committee from 2020-22.

During 2018-19, Shrey was seconded to International Finance Corporation as Financial Officer in Treasury & Syndications. He has previously worked at McKinsey and Co, the strategy consultancy.

He holds an MSc in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and a BSc (Hons) in Physics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. 

Mustafa Adil is the Head of Islamic Finance, Data & Analytics for London Stock Exchange Group. He is responsible for leading the Islamic finance and Islamic markets business for the organization, providing knowledge solutions and bespoke services to support the continued growth and increasing depth of the Islamic finance industry. He works in collaboration with government entities, multilateral organizations and leading financial institutions to support them in fulfilling their aspirations and executing their strategies in the Islamic markets space. These include the delivery of content solutions, research, consulting services and market engagement. He also spearheads the development of new initiatives or services that meet the increasingly sophisticated needs of the industry across markets.

Prior to joining Refinitiv, Mustafa was a leading consultant in the Islamic Financial Services team at Ernst & Young, providing advisory services to some of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the GCC and globally. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales and holds a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Imperial College in London.

Bruce is currently director of metals research for LSEG with responsibility for managing research teams for base, iron ore and steel and precious metals across the group’s global locations. He joined Thomson Reuters in February 2014 as base metals research manager. Prior to this Bruce spent over six years as a sell-side equity analyst at Société General, London and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, South Africa, covering gold, silver and platinum mining stocks. Previous appointments include seven years as an exploration geologist in Africa and over six years as a Metals Analyst for GFMS, a precious metals consultancy. Bruce holds a BSc in Geology and a Masters in Mineral Project Appraisal from Imperial College, Royal School of Mines.

Jane is Head of Sustainability for LSEG Group. Jane leads LSEG's sustainability agenda globally, working in partnership with a wider range of stakeholders across the business she is responsible for delivering LSEG’s sustainability strategy across the full value chain including its culture, operations, supply chain and products and services.

Jane has worked in financial services for 25 years, always with a specialism in sustainable finance and responsible investment. Over that time she has had roles within asset management, investment consulting, wealth management and financial market infrastructure.  Jane is also a non-executive director of The Investment and Savings Alliance (TISA) and a Director of The Centre for Financial Capability. Jane has an MSc, Environmental Technology from Imperial College and a BSc Environmental Science from University of Greenwich.

Cornelia leads Sustainable Finance and Investing for the data & analytics division of the London Stock Exchange Group, driving growth and solving challenges for organisations across the world in close collaboration with customers and market participants. Focused on delivering best in class data, analytics, indices, research, and building innovative solutions enabling investor, trading, risk, wealth and corporate communities globally.

Ms Andersson has extensive experience in financial data and technology, having run market data, market analysis, business intelligence and due diligence functions globally for market leading firms. An experienced financial information professional, and a frequent speaker at industry events, Cornelia is a chartered information professional (CILIP), FIA qualified, she holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from Lund University, Sweden and a MBA from Imperial College, London.

Jaakko Kooroshy is Head of Sustainable Investment Research at LSEG where he oversees a team of researchers and data scientists developing climate and sustainability-related data, scores and insights for investors.

Previously, Jaakko was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, where he was the European research lead for GS SUSTAIN, providing insights in investment opportunities around the low carbon transition and other long-term trends.

He has also been a Research Fellow for Energy, Environment, and Resources at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House and an analyst at The HagueCentre for Strategic Studies (HCSS).

He holds an MSc in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam, a BSc in International Economics, and a BA in Social Sciences and History from Maastricht University.

Tessa Walsh is the ESG financing editor for IFR at London Stock Exchange Group. She is responsible for covering all ESG-labelled financing, relevant regulatory initiatives and capital markets developments and IFR's daily ESG Briefing. She was previously global loan editor for Loan Pricing Corp at Thomson Reuters.  

Silvina Bruggia is Director of Emerging Markets at Refinitiv, an LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) business, responsible for addressing client needs in the Investment and Wealth Management segments. She has held different positions in the areas of products, content, sales and marketing at Refinitiv and in the Financial & Risk business division of Thomson Reuters in Latin America since joining the firm in 2006. Between 2016 and 2018 she led the South Latam business and then the Market Development team in Latin America until 2020.

She currently has an active participation in the development of capital markets in emerging countries, promoting best global practices in sustainable finance and financial inclusion, generating initiatives and discussion spaces for the adoption of ESG criteria in investment decision-making, and supporting innovation and new technologies that facilitate access to data and connectivity.

Degree in Economics (Merit: CUM-LAUDE) from the University of Buenos Aires, where she also was assistant professor for almost 7 years lecturing on macroeconomics, monetary economics, credit and banking. Also, she holds a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources Management at Universidad Católica Argentina. Silvina participated in several programs focused on Innovation and new technologies like Digital Immersion in Silicon Valley and Smart Investing in IAE
