As Director of the Agriculture & Weather Research team within LSEG's Commodities Research team, Tom leads a global team of specialists, analysts, meteorologists and weather experts who provide critical insights in the agriculture market, including supply and demand-based forecasts, agricultural flows, import and export analysis, and price assessments. His team also forecasts short-term weather and long-range climate patterns along with their impacts on agriculture and energy markets. The teams’ content are available within LSEG’s Eikon and Workspace platforms, as well as various data feed products. Tom has been with the team for 14 years, and has a B.S. in Meteorology, and M.S. in Geography/Climatology, both from Northern Illinois University.

Libin Zhou is the Agriculture Research Manager within LSEG's Agriculture & Weather Research team. She has been leading LSEG's grain/oilseed supply and demand fundamental research for over ten years. She is expertised in global crop production forecasts, real-time monitoring of agricultural products imports/exports, and agricultural market trends analysis and forecasts. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Geography from Florida State University.

Positioned within the Agriculture and Weather research team at LSEG, Isaac Hankes leads weather forecasting efforts specializing in seasonal outlooks.

Isaac Hankes is an atmospheric scientist with 15 years of experience working to provide insight on the intersection between anomalous weather (climate, heat waves, drought, flooding, hurricanes, cold air outbreaks, severe weather, etc.) and its impacts on commodities markets (agriculture, energy, shipping, etc.). His past (publications) and ongoing research (articles) at LSEG reflect a commitment to improving the understanding and communication of weather risks based on the latest techniques available.

Dong Soon Choi leads the forecasting of area, yield and production of several major grain and oilseed crops in the United States, Brazil and Argentina for LSEG Agriculture Research. Prior to joining London Stock Exchange Group/Refinitiv/Thomson Reuters he worked at LG Economic Research Institute as a senior agricultural and natural resource economist in charge of microeconomic research and market analysis for LG Corporation. Dong Soon earned his undergraduate degree from New York University and completed graduate studies at Columbia University and Penn State University.
