Martin Kent was appointed His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner (HMTC) for Asia Pacific in September 2023. He joined from an interim posting as the Minister and Deputy Head of Mission in the British Embassy Tokyo.

Martin previously served as a Director within the Department for Business and Trade, prior to which he was HM Deputy Trade Commissioner to Africa, based in the British Embassy Cairo.

Martin joined the Civil Service in 2015 as the Deputy Director for Global Operations at UK Trade and Investment (UKTI).

He started his career at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in London and worked mainly overseas with multinational companies, including extended periods in Australia and Singapore.

Martin graduated from St John’s College, Cambridge University, and is from Colchester in Essex.

Mr. King Ho joined J.P.Morgan in 2006, he is currently the Co-Head of J.P.Morgan’s Depositary Receipts business in Asia-Pacific. Mr. Ho is instrumental in many depositary receipt related initiatives in the region, including HDR, London-Shanghai Connect, GDR listing on SGX, ADR/GDR listing on various international exchanges.

Before joining JPMorgan, Mr. Ho worked as Relationship Manager at Euroclear in Hong Kong where he covered Mainland China and Taiwan based financial institutions. During his tenure at Euroclear, Mr. Ho worked closely with the central banks, financial institutions and Centralized Securities Depositories (CSDs) within the region. 

Gareth Deiner is an English and New York qualified lawyer whose practice covers debt and equity capital markets transactions. Having previously been based in London, he has been in Singapore for the past 14 years and has a particular focus in assisting Southeast Asian companies to achieve their growth ambitions.

Gareth advises sovereign and corporate issuers, private equity sponsors and investment banks on their most complex and strategic capital markets transactions, including IPOs, dual listings and capital reorganisations. He is also a noted expert on ESG-related solutions and sustainable finance transactions, having advised on numerous award-winning and market-first transactions, particularly in the energy transition space. 

Nick is the Head of Pinsent Masons’ Asia Pacific Corporate practice. Recognized as one of Singapore’s Top 100 lawyers on Asia Business Law Journal’s The A-List, Nick has a particular focus on equity capital markets (including London Stock Exchange Official List and AIM), private equity, joint ventures, fintech, medtech, and mergers and acquisitions. He currently advises on numerous fund raises for companies seeking growth capital in particular. He also regularly advises multinational corporations and sovereign wealth funds with regards to regional investments in Asia.

Nick acts for a broad range of industries including life sciences, healthcare, social media, micro-lending, e-payments, oil and gas, renewable energy, mining, financial services, defence, aviation and manufacturing. He has been working on transactions in Asia and living in the region for almost two decades.

Robin is Head of Capital Markets for MHA and has extensive experience in corporate finance including corporate advisory and reporting assignments, raising capital, management buyouts, capital reconstructions, pre-flotation planning, due diligence and valuations. He has also advised on acquisitions and disposals by public and private companies as well as on over 150 IPOs, secondary offerings, RTOs, Take Over Code transactions in the UK and overseas, in a wide range of sectors. His sector experience includes Property, Professional Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Natural Resources, Real Estate, Renewables and Technology. Robin has particular experience in capital market transactions for clients operating overseas, particularly companies based in ASEAN, Greater China and Australasia.​

 Robin is also a Director of AIM Market and Main Market companies listed in London and a Catalist listed company in Singapore. As such he has a 360 degree and almost unique view on and experience of International capital market transactions. 

Richard Fagan joined HSBC in 2009, helming HSBC's ECM franchise within the UK market. Prior to his tenure at HSBC, Richard made significant contributions at Linklaters LL, where he played a pivotal role in M&A and capital markets transactions across the UK and Asia. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from Imperial College London and a LLB (Hons) in Law from King's College London

Leslie is the Head of Tech Singapore Advocates, the Singapore branch of the Global Tech Advocates network. She also oversees the group’s APAC presence; working with GTA partners throughout SouthEast Asia. With TSA/GTA, Leslie builds community and drives initiatives to support the local and global tech eco-systems. She also advises startups and scaleups; as well as acting as a moderator and speaker at events. Leslie is a New York qualified attorney, having practiced for many years in London before relocating to Asia.

James has over 25 years investment banking experience, having worked at Robert Fleming, Société Générale and Arbuthnot Securities, before joining the corporate finance team at Strand Hanson in 2004.

James acts as lead adviser to a broad range of domestic and international clients, covering IPOs and secondary fund raisings, restructurings and Mergers & Acquisitions.
